West LA College ΑΓΣ is proud to host the Spring 2011 Teachers Appreciation Day (TAD), which will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the HLRC building (4th floor). Here our ΑΓΣ students will be honoring the teachers that inspire them to excel in their academic pursuits. The event will start at 1:00pm, and will be fully catered. ΑΓΣ members who are involved in the set up of the event or presenting are encouraged to arrive at least 1-2 hours early. For more information on TAD, check out our Events page.

Important ΑΓΣ meeting – April 27, 2011!
To all WLAC ΑΓΣ members who wish to put their name in the hat for Executive Board position elections, your attendance in the upcoming meeting, which takes place April 27 in room MSA 006 at 2:30pm, will be mandatory. This is one of a two step process that will span over two consecutive meetings. The meeting on the 27th will be the nominations and introductions of candidates for each position. The following meeting will consist of the election itself. The positions up for election are: President, Vice-president, Treasurer, and Secretary. New Spring 2011 Application and Hours Sheet Now Available!
With the new semester just around the corner, the new WLAC ΑΓΣ Application and Hours Sheet are now available for early download! The deadline for the Application is set at March 17, 2011. New and returning members now have two (2) full months to turn their Application in. However, don’t wait! Be sure to turn your in Application early to avoid the rush. Welcome Week coming Feb. 7-9, 2011!
The first event of the Spring 2011 semester is coming up in less then one month! Get ready for West LA College Welcome Week which will take place upon the campus.
